Dubai-based Diva'Me raises $1million in pre-seed funding
Diva'Me is a period pant and menstrual product brand which will now expand with an AI-powered app.
Diva’Me, a period care brand based in the United Arab Emirates has successfully raised $1 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Verde.
The brand, co-founded by Prashant and Nadine Audi, aims to break the taboo surrounding menstruation and empower women with innovative products and technology.
Sustainable period care
Diva’Me currently sells period care products, including period pants, made from natural raw materials. The brand has successfully been selling its products through its website www.idivame.com and now plans to launch a new range of period fashion wear, including beachwear, lingerie, and neutraceuticals.
A vision for an AI-based personalised counselling app
Now with pre-seed investment, Diva’Me’s vision is its upcoming AI-based personalised counselling app.
This app will increase access to medical practitioners by matching users with the most suitable counsellors or gynaecologists based on their requirements.
This initiative aligns with Diva’Me’s commitment to providing comprehensive support to women during their menstrual journey.
Expansion and research initiatives
Diva’Me plans to use the pre-seed capital to develop and launch the AI-based counselling app, connecting women globally with leading medical practitioners.
Additionally, the funding will support Diva’Me’s expansion into new territories and further research and development for innovative and sustainable products.
The start-up also welcomes Mr. Amol Awasthi, as an advisor to its board. Mr Awasthi has guided the funding in this capacity to date.
