Endo45 app expands to the UK amid growing gynaecology waitlists, offering proactive support for people living with endometriosis
New Zealand-founded app available from 1 March
As Endometriosis Awareness Month begins this March, Endo45, the endometriosis management app, is expanding its reach to the UK. It gives women a proactive way to manage their condition while they wait for care.
With UK gynaecology waitlists longer than ever and the average diagnosis time for endometriosis approaching eight years and 10 months, many women are left without specialist support for extended periods.
The Endo45 app helps users to take control of their health and manage symptoms in the interim via evidence-based approaches, approved by clinicians.
Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women globally. Although its causes remain poorly understood, there is increasing evidence that factors such environmental triggers and chronic inflammation play a significant role in the development of the condition and symptoms.
“I wanted to create a way for women to take charge of their health and see real results, particularly while they’re waiting for treatment,” explained Juliet Oliver, who created the app after struggling with endometriosis.
“Our approach addresses all the latest research which shows that endometriosis is less about a hormonal issue, and more about a chronic full body condition.”
Lasting transformative habits
Endo45’s key feature, the EndoFit score, is designed to help users build lasting, transformative habits that directly address the drivers of endometriosis. It covers the four key body systems disrupted by the condition: immune, gastrointestinal, hepatic and nervous.
The app guides users step-by-step, focusing on five core pillars that address these systems: Reduce Your Pain, Get Your Energy Back, Beat Your Endo belly, Balance Your Hormones, and Restock Your Life Force.
By tracking symptoms, assessing lifestyle factors, and following tailored recommendations, users build a personalised plan to minimise their symptoms and enhance their well-being.
“The EndoFit score helps women visualise their progress so they feel positive and empowered by their efforts. With our step-by-step tips, they can gradually build a lifestyle that supports their long-term health and puts endometriosis in the rearview,” says Juliet.
Endo45 is available in New Zealand and Australia and officially launches in the UK on March 1st.
Super excited to try this!!!
