It just goes to show you that there truly is massive and pent up resources for better Women's Health. Looking forward to seeing many folks at the WHISUSA event in Boston next month!

A $40 million Series B is a business story more than a clinical one, and the piece reads that way, mostly investor and founder quotes. What would actually move this forward for someone with recurrent BV or unexplained vaginal symptoms is whether any of this funding goes toward publishing outcomes data, not just processing more samples faster.

Yes absolutely and I’ve got a deeper feature coming this week on just that - what’s next for the vaginal microbiome and how it is making a difference. Evvy has really led the way in tracking outcomes data too- it’s part of the reason they’ve been able to grow and secure this Series B.

So great to see and huge congrats to the Evvy team on this milestone!! Using the vaginal microbiome as a routine, ongoing health indicator instead of just a last resort when symptoms pop up makes so much sense! It's so cool to see them taking at home testing and turning it into something that could genuinely change how we approach fertility and preventative care. Big win for the whole space!
