A new European forum bringing together startups, researchers, institutions and industry players working across women’s health will launch in Paris this November.
The inaugural Women’s Health Europe Forum will take place on 27 November 2026, with 200 attendees expected in person and more than 200 joining online. More than 50 one-to-one meetings are also planned to connect organisations and support partnerships across the European ecosystem.
Led by Femtech France, the Forum is being organised in partnership with other European collectives working in women’s health innovation, with an ambition to strengthen links between national ecosystems and increase the sector’s weight in European economic and political discussions.

“France has built one of the richest Femtech ecosystems in Europe, and it is this expertise that we want to put to work for a broader movement. With the Women’s Health Europe Forum, we want to give this sector the place it deserves in the European economic and political debate, and create a space where national ecosystems can finally exchange, strengthen one another, and carry collective weight across the continent.”
Corporate support for innovation challenges
The first edition of the forum is being supported by Besins Healthcare, BNP Paribas, Garmin Health, Organon and PiLeJe, with two innovation challenges running alongside the Forum.
The Perimenopause & Menopause Challenge, run with PiLeJe, is seeking solutions to help healthcare professionals better identify and monitor vulnerabilities associated with perimenopause and menopause. The Women’s Health Wearables Challenge, with Garmin Health, is inviting startups, researchers and companies to develop women’s health solutions using data from Garmin’s connected ecosystem. Applications close on 18 October, with winners announced at the Forum.
The launch comes amid wider efforts to build more formal infrastructure around women’s health innovation in Europe. Last year, FemTech France partnered with the Paris Region to establish Femtech Île-de-France, which launched with an initial €5 million and a goal of raising at least €35 million more to invest in startups across endometriosis, fertility, menopause and women’s cardiovascular health.
Founded in 2022, Femtech France now represents more than 110 startups and says it is increasingly working with counterpart organisations across Europe.
Pre-registration for the Forum is now open, with ticket sales and the first speaker announcements expected in the coming weeks.
