Hello Inside helps women make informed decisions about their health and wellness
Hello Inside, a start-up that uses 24/7 blood sugar sensor tracking technology to provide insights to women about their health and wellness, has raised €1.65m in seed funding.
The Austrian-based start-up secured funding by Verge fund, supported by DocMorris, Germany's leading online pharmacy and Kapa Ventures. Existing supporters include Lea-Sophie Cramer (Amorelie), Martin Murray (Waterdrop), Eric Demuth (Bitpanda) as well as 10xFounders, Simon Capital and Miele Ventures.
Scarlett Chen, the lead investor from Verge Fund said:
"We see enormous potential in Hello Inside, not only in terms of market opportunity but also in the positive impact it can have on women's health worldwide. The highly disciplined and performance-driven team has created one of the most engaging digital health apps globally.
“The unique combination of cutting-edge technology and the focus on women's specific health needs aligns perfectly with our mission at Verge HealthTech Fund."
Supporting informed decisions
Hello Inside, which was founded in 2021, uses continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) to help women to make more informed decisions about their health and wellness. The service integrates third-party CGM with AI tech to track and log lifestyle and health data (food, movement, stress and sleep) to then provide a comprehensive understanding of metabolic health.
The system already works seamlessly with other leading health services, such as the Oura Ring or Apple Health, to offer a holistic approach to health tracking and behaviour change.
Mario Aichlseder, CEO of Hello Inside said:
"Attention is the key to behaviour change and positive health impact. By pairing this with the power of AI and the knowledge of our medical experts, we can offer women a profound understanding of their metabolic health.
“Our technology is not just about tracking data, but about providing actionable insights that lead to meaningful changes in health and wellness."
Currently users of the app already average 10+ app opens per day and achieve an 80% weight-goal success rate within 30 days. Hello Inside now plans to use this funding to further clinically validate its engagement model and roll out a B2B offering.
