Mamaya Health raises $3 Million to expand women's mental health platform
Mamaya provides personalized, culturally attuned behavioral health support across every life stage
Mamaya Health, a Nashville-based digital health company focused on behavioral healthcare for women and their familes, has secured $3 million in growth equity financing to expand its platform and partnerships. The Series A round was led by LFE Capital, with participation from Spitha Capital and other investors.
Founded in 2019, Mamaya delivers hybrid mental health care tailored to women and families, offering services that span fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, and beyond. Its model combines virtual therapy, psychiatry, peer support, and AI-powered care navigation with a growing provider network.
“Care needs to be simple, accessible, and meet women where they are—because therapy is a lifeline, not a luxury,” said Amy Green, Co-Founder and CEO of Mamaya Health.
The funding will be used to scale Mamaya’s AI-enabled care companion, expand its clinical network, and strengthen partnerships with health systems, hospitals, and community organizations. The company has already launched pilot programs with major health systems.
Brandon Ziemann, Co-Founder and COO, said the investment represents more than financial backing.
“We created Mamaya to close the care gaps women face every day—especially during moments of transition and vulnerability. This investment is more than capital—it’s momentum toward a new model of care.”
LFE Capital, which invests in companies advancing women’s health and well-being, led the round after meeting the Mamaya team at the Florida Venture Capital Conference in Miami.
“We invested in Mamaya because they’re tackling one of the most urgent challenges in healthcare: access to mental health care for women and families,” said Leslie Frecon, Founder and Managing Partner at LFE Capital.
Jennifer Dunham, Founder and Managing Partner at Spitha Capital, said Mamaya’s approach stood out for both scalability and human connection.
“Mamaya’s model is scalable, deeply human, and built for equity. We’re proud to support their next stage of growth,” she said.
Mamaya positions itself as a platform that blends clinical expertise with culturally attuned, life-stage–specific support. Its aim is to deliver mental health services that are accessible, in-network, and responsive to the needs of women and their families.
