myStoria launches fertility education and support platform
Aims to reduce the time, cost, and life disruption on their path to parenthood

A new fertility education and support platform has launched in Canada to help individuals to navigate their path to parenthood.
myStoria provides tools to help patients to advocate for better care, access personalized education and find community support. The subscription-based platform includes a fertility assessment, a centralized fertility profile, medical document organizer, concierge service and community.
myStoria’s aim is to helps users reduce the time, cost, and life disruption on their path to parenthood. It was created to address the current ‘maze-like’ fertility care experience, where individuals face fragmented systems, endless appointments and overwhelming decisions. Patients are left balancing the demands of clinical care with emotional and logistical challenges, often feeling abandoned once they leave the clinic doors. Without the right tools, they’re forced to self-advocate and piece together disconnected solutions, amplifying the stress of an already difficult journey.
Founder Jessica Chalk said:
“Fertility care shouldn’t leave patients feeling lost and alone.”
“We created myStoria to bridge the gaps in care and support patients every step of the way. From advocating for better care to finding answers and lightening the heavy burden of self-advocacy, our mission is to make every patient feel empowered, informed, and supported on their journey.”
Built by patients, for patients
Jessica Chalk’s journey to founding myStoria began in the most personal way—through her own difficult and emotionally charged experience with infertility. After six exhausting years, multiple treatments, and over $100,000 spent, she found herself lost in a healthcare system that seemed more focused on process than the people enduring it. myStoria was created from this realization.
“I wanted to build something that empowers patients to take control of their care, ask the right questions, and feel supported every step of the way,” said Chalk.
Joining Chalk on the team are Carly Malo, Head of Concierge; Meaghan Kay, Head of Marketing; and Helen Poon, Head of Engineering, who have all been impacted by fertility journeys in one way or another.
Expert-led innovation
The platform is guided by a distinguished Medical Advisory Board, including fertility specialists Dr. Meivys Garcia, Dr. Rahi Victory, and Dr. Marta Wais, who provide critical expertise to ensure myStoria’s tools and resources align with the highest standards of care.
This mission also attracted Cheryl Dowling, globally recognized for her platform, The IVF Warrior, who joined myStoria to lead partnerships and community initiatives.
“When I learned about myStoria’s vision, I knew it was something I had to be part of,” said Dowling.
“This platform extends critical resources and support to a broader community, ensuring patients feel informed and empowered.”
Thank you for shining light on the important work we are doing for patients at myStoria!
