This week’s article isn’t really about peptides.
It starts with the current debate around peptides and the questions it raises about safety, evidence and regulation. But I think the bigger story is what peptides show us about where women’s health may be heading.
The relationship between healthcare, wellness and consumer demand may be changing and many of the sector’s most successful companies are no longer simply treating a single condition. They’re becoming long-term health platforms, supporting women across decades of their lives. If new therapies now start to reach patients because demand already exists, rather than because evidence has fully matured, those platforms will face very different commercial decisions over the coming years.
